Children are likened to caterpillars at Joy Champs. They are in the process of becoming adults and will eventually fly away from their nest. A caterpillar must first enter into a cocoon before becoming a butterfly. During this transformation, the caterpillar must remain motionless in the cocoon, waiting to be changed into a beautiful butterfly.
This lengthy and difficult process in the cocoon represents the learning process that all your children must go through if they are to improve and excel academically to reach their full potential, and be champions in life.
To make this transformation dream a reality for every parent, Joy Champs has designed all our academic classes using the proven Smart P.I.P.E technique and neuro-centered learning methodology. We are confident that we'll be able to train your children to become disciplined and motivated kids and give them an unfair advantage and a head start in their academic journey!
The majority of advice on how to get excellent grades in exams starts and ends with the practical ‘how to’ stuff. However, at Joy Champs we feel that there is some very important foundational work that needs to happen before a child is ready for time management tips and working out how to revise. Most of the foundational work is about getting his or her head in the right place to actually get on and do the work. We believe it is important to lay the foundation for exam success together with the child.
What should your child do next to ensure success? STOP procrastinating and wasting time with an unfocused, unplanned schedule. As part of the Joy Champs' curriculum, we will teach your child how to plan a daily routine in order to maximise three things: Study Time, Energy, and Attention. They will learn how good study habits and mini habits can help them achieve their goals, as well as how small changes made every day over weeks and months can make a huge difference to the end result.
Learning is most effective when you take charge of the process. If a child takes a personal interest in what he or she is learning in school and extends that interest beyond the school setting, he or she will not only become a truly excellent student, but will also fall in love with his or her studies. We will teach your child how to take ownership of the subject and become passionate about it.
Joy Champs prepares students for exams by teaching them how to revise like a movie director, identifying their learning style, creating a revision plan, and employing effective techniques. This approach, while taking a small amount of time, can significantly impact exam results.
